Unlocking your potential

University courses without traditional exams

At Leeds Beckett many of our courses have traditional written exams, but we also have some that don’t.

We’re committed to building an inclusive environment that accommodates a wide range of learning styles. So, if you thrive more with different styles of assessments, you may be interested in our list of courses available in Clearing this year that offer just that.

How are courses without exams assessed?

This can vary across our courses without traditional exams. You might be assessed via written assignments, practical work, online assessments, group or individual presentations or performances. Courses without traditional exam hall assessments help to accommodate diverse learning needs and showcase your abilities in a way that you might find more comfortable and fulfilling.

Our approach

We understand every student is different, and one size doesn't fit all when it comes to assessments. For some, traditional exam formats are more challenging. We’re committed to providing you with a supportive learning environment that empowers you to reach your full potential, whether you’re studying a course with exams and need support or if you’d like to study a course that isn’t assessed with traditional written assessments in exam halls.
