Take a look through this section to find out all the things that make Leeds Beckett life so exciting.
Life in Leeds
It’s no secret that Leeds is a fantastic student city. It really does have it all – there’s the buzzing nightlife that you can enjoy every night of the week, a huge city centre shopping centre, one of the largest and (in our opinion) prettiest parks in Europe, plus it’s a foodie’s dream. Leeds is also the fastest growing economy in the country. Huge names such as Channel 4 and Burberry recently decided to open offices here, which all means that there’s plenty of opportunity to kick-start your dream career here in Leeds.
A Day In The Life
We asked our students to document a day in their life sharing what it's like to study at Leeds Beckett University.

Leeds Beckett gave me the perfect balance
My favourite part about the course, apart from the modules themselves is the whole learning atmosphere. Everyone has an eagerness to learn, even the tutors.

Employability & student support
One of the great things about our university is how dedicated we are to helping you become the most employable version of yourself. Lots of our courses include placement opportunities, and many students to go on a ‘sandwich’ year to develop key skills, solidify their knowledge and get paid.
We have our Job Shop, providing students with part-time work opportunities in local businesses that complement their skills.
Then there’s the support provided to ensure your time here goes as smoothly as possible. We have teams that can support you with mental or physical health issues, money problems and much more.
