We have launched a virtual yearbook to celebrate the class of 2020 as a collection of memories just for you. Over the next few weeks, we want you to share messages, images, and videos – which we’d love to use the best of at your graduation ceremonies.
The yearbook will be a feed of communication between students, and between students and school staff. Within the yearbook there will be a main class of 2020 group and then a class of 2020 group for each academic school.
As you know we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the graduation ceremonies scheduled for July to protect the health and wellbeing of our students, their families, and our colleagues. Public Health England has advised that social distancing measures are likely to be in force for the next few months and that it would be unsafe to hold large events such as graduation.
We will keep the yearbook feed open until we can hold your rearranged graduation ceremonies. Keep checking back to find out what ongoing support the university can offer you and what jobs are being advertised.
We know how important graduation is to you and to your family so want to reassure you that this is a postponement and not a cancellation. We will reschedule the ceremonies as soon as we have confidence that they can go ahead safely and in keeping with the advice from the government and Public Health England.
