The Athletics centre provides opportunities for all ages and abilities to train throughout the year in track and field disciplines.

The centre supports athletes aged from juniors up to elite levels, with Olympians, and LBU graduates, Alexandra Bell, Alistair Brownlee, Jonny Brownlee, Laura Weightman and Tom Bosworth among the top level athletes that train regularly at the centre.

In the last year the venue has hosted the West Yorkshire School Games, Leeds Varsity and regularly hosts regional athletic meets. The centre also welcomed the Chinese Olympic team for their pre-games training camp ahead of the 2012 Olympics in London.

Leeds Beckett University's Athletics club, Carnegie Junior Sports Academy and Camp Carnegie sessions as well as other Leeds based clubs train on site with full coaching support.

All technical events require the presence of a coach. For students holding current athletics qualifications, coaching opportunities are available.

We can also arrange hospitality, meeting rooms, accommodation or a lecture theatre to complement your event.
