View an assignment submission

This guide provides information for staff about accessing Blackboard assignment submissions uploaded by students. There are two ways of opening a student submission.

a. In the Module Management menu at the bottom left of your module, click Grade Centre, then click Full Grade Centre.

b. Find the column for the assignment. Use the scroll bars to navigate.

c. All new submissions that need marking are highlighted with an exclamation mark. 

d. Click the action link (circle with down arrow) next to the exclamation mark, then click the Attempt you want to mark.

Attempt

a. In the Module Management menu at the bottom left of your module, click Grade Centre, then click Needs Marking.

b. You can use the filters at the top of the page to focus on a specific assignment.

c. Click the user attempt you want to open.

You can mark and leave feedback in the side panel on the right of the assignment submission, as well as inline comments on some file types.
