Lucile Allen-Paisant

Lucile Allen-Paisant is a Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at Leeds Business School, Director of Mind It Ltd, and Founder of Leeds Wellbeing Week.

Lucile is a Board Member of the Centre for Entrepreneurship & Knowledge Exchange. Her current areas of interest are Entrepreneurship, and particularly Social, Environmental, Sustainable and Creative Entrepreneurship, as well as Wellbeing, Culture and Inclusion & Diversity in Workplaces.

Lucile has over 10 years of experience in project management and business development in various industries. Throughout her career, she has always been interested in and focused on social and environmental impacts of businesses and organisations. In her early career, she worked at the IBM Foundation in Paris to launch and implement pro bono projects internally, and at the CACIB (French Investment Bank) to create and close green bond and social investment deals. She then became Marketing Director of a fast-growing start-up in Paris (Afrimarket) promoting cash-to-goods remittances towards West African countries.

Lucile is now an Entrepreneur herself as the Director of Mind It Ltd. She is a Wellbeing Consultant and built a network of local experts to support employees and organisations with their wellbeing strategy. She is also the founder of Leeds Wellbeing Week, a yearly festival promoting wellbeing activities in Leeds.

Over the years, Lucile has been teaching Business Strategy, Leading Innovation & Change, Business in Action, Building Relationships, and Individual Enhancement at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is now focusing on Entrepreneurship and teaches Entrepreneurship in a Challenging Global Economy, Tech Entrepreneurship and Social Entrepreneurship.
