Senior Lecturer

Louisa is a Lecturer in Nursing at Leeds Beckett and is a NMC Registered Adult Nurse and NMP with 35+ years of clinical experience in a variety of settings, including Accident & Emergency, Primary Care, Police Custody, and Substance Misuse.

Louisa supports the teaching and assessment of adult and mental health BSc nursing students and apprentices. She is an Non Medical Prescriber and has special interests in health promotion, substance misuse and non-medical prescribing.

Since joining LBU, Louisa holds the position of Lecturer in the nursing team and teaches into a wide range of undergraduate provision. She also undertakes module and course leadership.

Louisa's teaching interests include health promotion, public health, patient assessment, medicines management and prescribing, clinical skills and substance misuse.
