Course Director

Hayley is the Course Director for all Environmental Health Courses here at Leeds Beckett. She is a teacher/Practitioner and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy who teaches across all Environmental Health Courses specialising in food safety and professional modules.

Hayley has worked as an Environmental Health Practitioner for over 24 years for a number of different local authorities and has worked in the different disciplines of Environmental Health, latterly specialising in Food Safety as Principal EHP. Hayley is a voting member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and also coordinates the CIEH Practical Food Examination and the Practical Food Inspection Course. Hayley has also been Assembly Representative for the North West Region of the CIEH and was also a member of the CIEH Food Safety expert panel –December 2016-December 2017.

Research Interests

Hayley's research interests lie in earned autonomy for food business and construction of groups.
