Addressing bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct

Leeds Beckett University is a great place to study and work but when unacceptable behaviour occurs, it not only harms the individual target, it undermines the values of the institution, leading to a damaging student experience and impacting on the morale and wellbeing of members of our community.

We all have a role in building a safe and respectful environment in which our students and colleagues are able to live, learn, work and thrive, and we are committed to challenging and addressing any behaviour that undermines this. Our Support, Report, Respect reporting tool enables our university community to report unacceptable behaviour, so individuals can be assured that they will be listened to, supported and appropriate action taken in accordance with our formal processes.

Our Dignity and Respect Network

Leeds Beckett University’s Dignity and Respect Network is available to support all individuals that may have been affected by bullying, harassment, and sexual misconduct. The network made up of our pool of Dignity and Respect Advisors, will provide a confidential and informal service to listen and support individuals that may have been subject to, or be accused of bullying, harassment, or sexual misconduct
