APPLICANT days
Applicant Days, on the other hand, happen later in the application process. They are more focused events with specific timetables tailored to the specific course that your child has applied to. They generally include more in-depth course talks than those offered at the Open Day, with many including a practical workshop and, where appropriate, a specialist facilities tour. Applicant Days still give you the chance to see our accommodation and to take a tour of the campus.
We don’t advertise Applicant Days to the general public. Instead, we directly invite Leeds Beckett applicants to those events. While an Open Day is about choosing a university, an Applicant Day is about preparing for university. Your child should really attend both.
No matter which university your child eventually goes to, make sure they visit first. It’s their opportunity to make an informed decision about which course and university is right for them.
Applicant Days usually take place between February and May.
