Rav Panesar

Part-time Lecturer

Rav Panesar is a Part-time Lecturer on the LGPM course, providing mentoring and guidance for students on their final year dissertation. The rest of his time is made up as a Regeneration Manager at Bradford Council leading on a £25m programme in Shipley.

After completing his MBA and Senior Leaders Degree Apprenticeship at Leeds Beckett University, Rav uses his experience and knowledge to support students with their own dissertations as part of the LGPM course.

Rav's full time role involves managing a £25 million programme of regeneration projects in Shipley which is part of the government's agenda for levelling up. Projects range from regenerating the town centre through to a grant programme for businesses with the potential to grow.

Research Interests

Rav is particularly interested in economic development and regeneration, particularly through the lens of an entrepreneur. His dissertation was focused on business acceleration practices from a local authority perspective, including an evaluation of the Northern Max Accelerator Programme which he was the Programme Lead for in Bradford Council.
