Senior Lecturer

Gaynor has over 15 years' marketing experience spanning the public, private and not-for-profit sectors and covering both on and off-line marketing techniques. Gaynor assists organisations with their marketing strategies to generate new business and utilise income streams. She has previously worked for the NHS and at Age UK, marketing their services and ranges of websites, using a variety of techniques.

Gaynor works closely with the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) as an examiner and has taught the CIM Introductory and Professional level qualifications. She has also taught a range of Management modules at Degree and Masters level. She is an assessor for City & Guilds and an Ofsted Inspector. She has previously taught at BPP University, University of Bradford, Leeds Trinity University as well as a range of private training providers.

Gaynor joined Leeds Business School in September 2022 and is the Module Leader for Marketing in a Post Digital Era, Digital Marketing Techniques and the PG Marketing Research Project.

Gaynor has contributed to a number of renowned marketing and digital marketing textbooks. She recently won a grant to carry out research into the effectiveness of advertising using eye-tracking technology.
