Filmmaking graduates triumph at Royal Television Society (RTS) Yorkshire Student Awards 2024.
Cameron Haggie, Agrippina Mescherakova, and Callum Auckland secured Best Drama with their captivating production, 'Worry-Fear-Unease. The Triptych.' The film not only impressed the judges at the RTS Yorkshire Student Awards but also earned a nomination at the 2023 Student Academy Awards.
Elliot Foster, Annie Foulkes, and Andrei Stanescu picked up an award for Best Entertainment and Comedy Drama with their film, 'Kate is Sad.' Their blend of entertainment and poignant storytelling of mental health resonated deeply with audiences and judges alike.
Annie Foulkes won a second award for her writing of ‘Kate is Sad’.
The RTS Student Television Awards recognise the best audiovisual work created by students at undergraduate and postgraduate level across the UK. The awards serve as a platform for emerging talents to showcase their skills and creativity on a prominent stage.
