In his PhD research dissertation Dr Ali Saad identified key behaviours and challenges that have prevented the UK construction industry from benefiting from the benefits of MMC. The results were published as The Hateful 10, the behaviours that undermine Modern Methods of Construction - and created a huge debate on LinkedIn. Join us as we further the debate as to why the industry still struggles to achieve the benefits of MMC, what practices need to stop, and what is the agenda moving forward.
This half day conference will feature keynote speakers plus our interactive and lively round table sessions covering the following five topics for discussion:-
- What is the value-based approach?
- How can we promote commitment?
- What is hindering veracity?
- Is MMC a one-stop shop?
- How to overcome legacy?
Join us on the 24th of April for our collaborative conference brought to you by Constructing Excellence in Yorkshire and Humber, thinkBIM and YORhub in conjunction with the School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing at Leeds Beckett University.
