Resources and guidance for our Post-Registration Nursing students and placement providers.

The Online Practice Assessment Record and Evaluation (PARE) is a useful tool which allows you to access information on the various placement providers, services and teams that offer Nursing placement opportunities to our students. This is also where placement evaluations should be completed after the end of your placement.

For access, please email the practice learning administrator on nursingplacements@leedsbeckett.ac.uk to request a login.

If you would like to attend the Practice Assessor Educator Conference please complete the booking form below and return it to nursingplacements@leedsbeckett.ac.uk. On receipt of your form you will receive a confirmation email (subject to availability) containing additional information regarding the event i.e programme, venue, times.

Previous conference presentations

Thank you to everyone who attended and presented at the March 2019 conference. Following feedback on the day, copies of the presentation delivered by Paula Beesley titled, Collaborative Learning: Working together to create a quality learning environment can be found below along with David Mercer's titled, Emotional Well Being: Managing Self and Others.

Following the success of this years annual conference, a copy of the presentation delivered by Debbie Casey and Sarah Burden titled, Supporting Practice Learning in the light of the new NMC (2018) standards is available for you to download below.

Leeds Beckett Specialist Community Nursing / Community Specialist Practitioner students will use an e-portfolio workbook for placement assessment and learning using the university's e-portfolio tool PebblePad.
