Senior Lecturer
Meg is a university teacher fellow, course leader for BSc (Hons) Data Science, Computing and Business Computing awards and link tutor for The British College Nepal. She has over 20 years of experience working in higher education and six years in industry.
Originally from Malaysia, Meg uses her previous work experience in software training and graphic design to progress to user-centred design thinking, focusing on the users and their needs in each phase of the design process. This has led to various external project collaboration, staff development, teaching and student experience endeavours, applying UX principles and computational thinking to a wide range of modules such as HCI, mobile interaction, database development and data analytics. Students recognise her contribution to teaching, which resulted in her receiving the Student Union's Hidden Hero award. She is currently undertaking a PhD study in Information Visualisation.

Research Interests
Meg is exploring the relationship between interaction and knowledge construction afforded by complex visualisation spaces. She has an excellent track record of knowledge transfer through HEA, JISC and EU funded projects, collaborating with home and International project partners.
