Rose Bowl hosts live Channel 4 Brexit debate
Titled ‘The Brexit Inbetweeners’, the programme gave an opportunity to those aged between 18-20 who were not able to vote in the 2016 referendum to discuss issues and ideas related to Brexit that matter to them.
The debate was lively both inside the Rose Bowl and online, with #BrexitInbetweeners taking the UK’s number one trending topic spot throughout the hour-long show.

Speaking about the day, Jon said: “It’s great to be at Leeds Beckett, which is a wonderful place. We’ve been very appreciative of their hospitality.”
“We’re here because there’s a group in the Brexit debate that politicians don’t want to engage with, and that’s those who were 16 or 17 during the referendum who now can vote, and they feel extremely aggrieved.
“They feel as though their voice is simply not being heard.”
