Colleague named in Northern Power Women's Future List
Northern Power Women is a collaborative campaign to accelerate gender diversity from the north of England. The Future List rewards the 50 influencers and change makers of the future who are already making a difference in their environments and communities.
Deb Hetherington, Business Engagement Team Manager said: “The Northern Power Women’s Future List is made up of some truly inspiring women from across the north who champion diversity and change, to be mentioned alongside them is a real honour.
“It’s great to be recognised for the work we’re doing within the Enterprise team at Leeds Beckett, which allows me to engage with an array of businesses and key stakeholders to display the spectrum of business services and academic excellence we have to offer.
“The Leeds city region is currently going through an exciting period of growth within the digital sector and I’m fortunate enough to be involved in several initiatives that are really pushing that agenda.
“It’s an exciting time for the region and the university is playing a key part in that.”
The Northern Power Women Future’s List includes Dr Amanda Lamb, Chief Operating Officer, Connected Health Cities; Aine McTiernan, Scale North Lead, PwC; and Tara Hewitt, inclusion and engagement manager, Northern Care Alliance NHS Group.
