Sociology

What are the factors   that make us who were are?

We are influenced by a range of social factors. Levers such as class, gender, culture, the media, globalisation alter how we see ourselves in relation to others, and often what we do. Study sociology, and you'll uncover themes and debates which will help you build a stronger sense of what impacts us, and how we move forward.
Matt Badcock

Sociology is the discipline for our time – we only need to step outside our doors to see how society is changing and how this is affecting people differently. Sociology is the discipline which equips you with the skills and perspectives to examine these changes and think about how they’re impacting on our everyday lives.
