Responsible Tourism Management Spotlight: Rethinking success in tourism

This year’s RTM spotlight focusses on perceptions of success in tourism. This one day conference for industry and academics starts by looking at the traditional measures of success which have led, in some cases, to ‘overtourism’. Responses to overtourism will be presented as well as introducing new ways of measuring successful tourism. The afternoon is set aside for a workshop in which we revisit the definition of Responsible Tourism. There is a separate workshop for industry.
