Accelerate is a six-month structured programme. It offers flexible one-to-one support for you and your business – and keeps you on track to help achieve your goals.

The aim of the programme is to give you the core building blocks to understand how to grow and develop your business. We offer practical sessions focused on improving knowledge and efficiencies around finance, marketing, operations and your strategic approach. 

Funded by the European Regional Development Fund, Accelerate at Leeds Beckett University is part of the AD:VENTURE programme.

On the programme you’ll benefit from:

  • 5 Masterclasses covering topics such as Connecting with Customers, Making It Happen, and Developing Your Business Model and Value Proposition – delivered in person and online
  • One-to-one support
  • Advice on grants and funding
  • A chance to meet and network with other young businesses

The next Accelerate programme will start in March 2023

It is aimed at businesses who are:

  • Looking to grow and create jobs in the Leeds City Region
  • Delivering their product or services to other businesses rather than direct to the consumer
  • Looking for a structured programme, with flexible one to one support, which will keep you on track to help achieve your goals

Programme Overview

The Accelerate programme is delivered over 5 weeks, with a hybrid format of in-person full-day sessions and some online sessions. 

Workshop 1 -Developing your business model and value proposition Wednesday 1st March, 9:30-4:30 – face to face

Workshop 2 - Connecting with customers, Marketing – part 1 Tuesday 7th March, 9:30 – 11:00– online

Workshop 3 - Connecting with customers, Marketing – part 2 Tuesday 14th March, 9:30 – 11:00 – online

Workshop 4 -  Making it happen – Operations Tuesday 21st March, 9:30 – 11:00 – online

Workshop 5 - How to move my business forward - Finance & Sales Thursday 30th March, 9:30-4:30 – face to face
