Deborah Casey

Senior Lecturer

Debbie joined the university in 2005 as a senior lecturer. She is part time, working three days. Her background is adult health nursing and has previously held a range of clinical, staff development and educational posts within the NHS.

Debbie teaches into a range of undergraduate and postgraduate provision. Her main focus is continuing professional development (CPD) and she is course leader for BSc and MSc Health and Community Care programmes. Her teaching interests include role development for health professionals, and professional, legal and ethical issues in health care. She is also lead for Recognition of Prior Learning for School of Health.
