Senior Lecturer

Caroline is a lecturer for Psychological Therapies & Mental Health. She has worked part time in clinical practice in offender & mental health regional personality disorder services since 2006 to 2019. She subsequently moved into HE in 2017, firstly as a mental health nurse educator 2017-2019 at Leeds Beckett University, thereafter in a similar role at her previous institution from 2019 to 2021. She then moved onto the psychological therapies and mental health team in the School of Health at Leeds Beckett University.

Caroline's interests are in trauma informed practice, expressive writing with mentally disordered offenders; from the autumn of 2022 due to commence the Professional Doctorate in Education, at Leeds Beckett University with a focus upon this theme.
