About the club
Scuba diving is a diverse and exciting activity that offers you endless opportunities.
Our Sub-Aqua club can give you the perfect opportunity to learn how to scuba dive during your time at university.
We are a fun club where the focus is not on fitness training, but under water training. If you’re cool, calm and collected and want to feel free under the waves then you know where we are!
Our club is a member of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) and welcomes any new members and students with ranging abilities, experience and qualifications.
We offer courses for beginners - if you have never dived before - which will earn you an internationally recognised qualification that enables you to scuba dive anywhere in the world.
If you already have a scuba qualification with either PADI, BSAC or any other training organisation, you can dive with us on any of our dive trips within the UK or holidays abroad.
Also if you do want to be a part of our club you do need to be able to swim, however, we may be able to link you with agencies who teach swimming if this is not your strong point.
We will be hosting try drive taster sessions on Tuesday 25th and Friday 28th September as well as an extra session on Tuesday 2nd October.
You can get in touch with us - and find out the most up to date news - by following us on Facebook:
Equipment is supplied subject to availability, however, we do encourage all of our members to invest in their own basic kit.
Kit can always be hired from UK dive centres when we visit.
