Netball
Make friends
For life
Netball at our University is hugely popular at both a competitive and recreational level. With weekly intramural fixtures held at the Sport Centre, the Campus Sport programme allows students to have a team made up of their friends, and compete against other student teams throughout the year.
Did you know?
A number of alumni currently compete in the Vitality Netball Superleague and Suncorp Super Netball League:
- Natalie Metcalfe (England Roses / Manchester Thunder)
- Natalie Panagarry (England Roses / Loughborough Lightning)
- Jess Shaw (Severn Stars)
- Brie Grierson (London Pulse)
- Rhea Dixon (Loughborough Lightning / Jamaica)
Plus many more in our Performance Pathway...
What equipment will I need?
Due to the level of competition within the club, all trialists should have a good knowledge of the sport and previous playing experience.
All equipment is provided. Players need to bring non-marking indoor shoes for court sessions.
