Information for Further Education & Colleges
We offer a range of workshops and talks to schools and further education colleges to ensure effective information, advice and guidance is delivered to post-16 students. We have a number of specialist events including a Focus Day, talks about higher education and student life, and a careers conference.
We have strong partnerships with colleges in West Yorkshire. We have delivered a number of collaborative events over the past year. Focus Days allow students taking A level and/or BTEC courses to explore the career opportunities available in their chosen field. We also visit local colleges to deliver sessions on the UCAS application process, writing personal statements and student finances. These activities are supported by Student Ambassadors, current undergraduate students at our University who can deliver sessions to A level and/or BTEC tutor groups.
