01 Download the Upay appÂ
We're adding our finishing touches to the app. Just give us a bit more time to get the app looking it's best!
Head to the App Store or Google Play and download the Upay app.
02 Select 'Single Sign On'
If you're a Leeds Beckett student or member of staff this will link your credentials with any existing Reward Cards, effortlessly transferring across those precious points and credit. If you don't have an existing Reward Card account it will create a brand new account linked to your Leeds Beckett ID.
If you aren't a Leeds Beckett student or member of staff the process is a little different, please follow our guide in the FAQs and we'll get you sorted.
03 Tap the Windows Icon to Sign In
Next you'll use your Leeds Beckett email and the password you use to sign into your email as your registration information.
Don't know your password? Contact the Libraries and Student IT team.
04 Manage your account
For security reasons your physical Reward Card will deactivate once you've signed in - you can reactivate your card if you want to use both by emailing beckettfood@leedsbeckett.ac.uk.
Once you've authenticated you'll be given the option to join the club of marketing and push notification. Why? Because we've got some tasty, exclusive deals and offers with your name on them! Keep those notifications on, and you won't miss out on a bargain!
If you ever change your mind, the power to tweak your preferences is always in your hands. Head over to the applications menu and switch it up.
05 Get ready for Rewards!
Now all that's left is to use it!
Before you pay, open the Upay app and show your unique QR code to our team at the tills (it's hanging out on the top or bottom right of your screen) and watch the magic happen. Points collect instantly, ready for you to cash in. Easy-peasy right?
Your homepage is where all the action is. It spills the beans on how close you are to scoring that 10th free hot drink – just a few stamps away! Plus, you can add credit, peek at time-limited deals, and snag ongoing offers. All your Rewards, just a finger tap away!
Activate your Reward Card now
Activating your Reward Card is easy! Just visit the link below, enter your details on the form and we'll have your card activated in 2 business days.
(P.s. we're just putting our final touches on our new app - come back here from the 19th February and follow the instructions to switch your account over!)
How the Rewards & the Upay app works

Get 3 loyalty points for every £1 you spend. Collect your Loyalty Points and when you're ready you can redeem your points by visiting our team at the till and your credit will be ready straight away, if your points don't cover your full purchase you can pay the remainder using cash or a debit or credit card, or you can choose to let your points build and use on another purchase later!
To track how many points you have collected so far, just open the Upay app!

Our Reward Card customers get access to exclusive offers across our food & retail outlets. Keep on top of our awesome offers by checking your Upay homepage or tapping Promotions on the main menu!

Every time you buy a qualifying hot drink, Upay adds a stamp on your virtual card handily displayed on your homepage.
Drumroll, please! When you hit a perfect 10, we're treating you to a hot drink on the house – absolutely free!

You can also add cash to your card to make even bigger savings, when you add cash we will boost your credit by either 5% or 10%. If you add credit through the Upay app this is done instantly - if you don't have the app you can do this through the online store, please allow two working days for credit to be added to your account.
Ready for some serious savings power moves? Add some cash onto your card, and we'll crank up your credit by either 5% or 10%! The best part? If you load up through the Upay app, it's instant – no waiting around.
Don't want the app? You can add credit at the tills or through our online store. Just a heads up, it can take 2 business days for that credit boost to kick in.

Let's get that voucher sorted - more often than not signing out of your account on the Upay app and then signing back in will nudge the voucher to pop up.
Just open your Upay app, tap the menu icon in the top left then choose "Log Out", then sign in again using Single Sign On (and tapping the Windows icon) and your voucher should appear!

Nothing says happy birthday like your favourite cake, so when it comes to that time of year just show us your Upay app or Reward at the tille along with some ID to get a free slice of cake.

Absolutely! Patience is key here. Once the university dishes out your student email address and password, you're all set. Just follow the instructions on the other tab!
