The Application Process

Before you get started with your application we advise that you read the job description and employee specification carefully as the decision whether to shortlist you will be based on the information provided in your application. Your Curriculum Vitae (CV) alone is not accepted in place of an application but you may include one as additional supporting information.

Now you've done that, here's our guide to help you with your application.

01 Search our job vacancies

Head over to our job search pages to find the perfect position for you. You'll be able to filter by a specific keyword, or filter by job category or type.

02 Create an account or log in

Once you've found your dream position, you'll be prompted to log in. External applicants will be asked to put in a personal email address, while internal applicants are encouraged to use their staff details.

03 Application summary

After logging in, you'll be directed through to an application summary for the job you clicked 'apply' for.  This is where everything regarding you application will be saved - you don't need to do it all at once, you can come back to it and finish it as and when!

Please note: the online form will time-out if you do not save any data for a 60-minute period. We strongly advise that you save your application regularly by clicking on the Save & Continue button.

04 Fill out the application pages

The application summary will show you which application pages you have left to complete. A red icon will show for incomplete pages and a green icon for completed pages. It's a good idea to refer to our dos and don'ts below while filling out your application.

05 Submit

Once you're happy with your application content and all the application pages on the summary page show a green icon next to them, you can go ahead and press submit. Don't worry, the 'submit' button will only be activated if all the icons show as green, so there can't be any accidents!

Please note: the submission deadline for application forms is midnight on the closing date quoted.
